Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this week as a atmospheric system continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.

The following day was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent storm activity predicted across various areas of both areas.

Medical Alert

Public health experts warned that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
