1. Star Talent Palmer Available for Crucial Capital Clash with Arsenal

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed on Friday that Cole Palmer is available for selection for the squad's vital Premier League fixture against London rivals Arsenal.

The 23-year-old England international was unavailable due to a fractured toe suffered after an accidental incident.

“He is available to start and to play,” Maresca said. “Everyone is happy.”

This season, Palmer has featured in just four games in every contest, scoring twice.

Since his arrival from Manchester City in the previous year, he has achieved 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 matches for the London club.

“He is our most valuable asset, we are pleased he is back, we need to give him time to be fully fit,” Maresca continued. “He has done fantastic in the past and no doubt he is going to do exceptionally well for this club in the future.”

“We lodged an appeal and it was unsuccessful,” coach the manager said. “No explanation was provided for the rejection but we did appeal it.”

When asked about any further fallout from the incident, Moyes remarked: “It ended right away, it was done, that was it, we moved on swiftly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

3. Wissa Practices with Newcastle for First Time since Setback

The club's recent signing Yoane Wissa has practiced with his squad for the initial occasion since suffering a knee injury soon after his arrival from his former club in September.

Head coach Eddie Howe confirmed the development on Friday but withheld a possible comeback timeline for the player.

Newcastle brought in the striker for a significant fee to fill the void left by Alexander Isak, who moved to Liverpool for a British record transfer fee.

Unfortunately, Wissa was hurt while on national team service before he could play his first game for his new club.

“He is doing well, he trained with us for the first time on midweek, so I was very happy with how he looked,” Howe said. “It was his initial competitive session with the team. Let’s see how he responds today.”

Howe continued: “We’ve got [a return date] in mind, but it’s likely best if I do not share it publicly. We aim to avoid letting people down. Naturally, we want to involve him as promptly.”

Additionally, the defender will be sidelined for a month with a hamstring injury.

5. Morgan Gibbs-White Could Feature for Forest against Brighton

The club's manager Sean Dyche is hopeful that Morgan Gibbs-White will be available for the team's home match against Brighton on the weekend.

The English player was absent for the midweek European match against Malmö due to a back injury.

“We hope it is improving,” Dyche commented as he prepared to face the Brighton manager's team, who have secured a decent haul from their last three matches.

“It’s comparable to back pain, but a waking-up sort of injury, one where you just rest awkwardly or twist funny. So we’re not expecting, at this stage anyway, that it’s too serious and it’s improving already. So we’re confident that it’ll be fine for the weekend.”

The defender was feeling his hamstring after the 3-0 European win, but Dyche indicated the player “should be fine”.

Meanwhile, Ola Aina (thigh injury), Douglas Luiz (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), Chris Wood (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are expected to miss out.

6. Glasner: Conference League Loss Won't Hinder Palace

Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner believes that the disappointment of midweek's Conference League loss to Strasbourg is a sign of how much progress the team has advanced in challenging on two fronts.

The domestic cup holders went ahead at the away ground through Tyrick Mitchell's first-half goal but were equalized against by the opposition manager's team, who moved up to second in the group standings.

Crystal Palace now return to domestic action with a home match against the Red Devils, and Glasner is confident his team can maintain their push for a Champions League place.

“Similar to the late loss against Everton, it just feels that it was entirely needless and it is our fault,” Glasner commented. “Alternatively, we have to accept it. The commitment was there but it is a game we shouldn’t definitely lose.”

Glasner confirmed that Borna Sosa would be absent for the weekend's game after he stayed behind to Strasbourg, but Will Hughes, who was substituted during the opening period against the opponents, should be in the matchday squad.
